JOB DESCRIPTION 

Moda is looking for an experienced and motivated Event Manager to take responsibility for an exciting and new branded event strategy across all Moda neighbourhoods. The Event Manager will work alongside brand partners, external suppliers and on site Resident Engagement Managers to deliver exceptional curated experiences.

As a key brand custodian, you will deliver innovative, market leading events that offer enhanced experiences to residents and partners, resonate with Moda's audiences and represent brand values and pillars including wellbeing, tech, customer service and ESG. You will play an integral role in the development of overall event planning and strategy, including the development and management of supporting materials such as event collateral and assets, operational delivery

Key activities:
• Create and roll-out a new Moda branded events strategy, including partnership activity across all neighbourhoods.
• Support localised event plans delivered by operational neighbourhoods, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.
• Create Moda branded items and pop-ups that can be ‘rented’ out by operational neighbourhoods.
• Identify new brand opportunities and agree new partnerships for events.
• Support with developing new Moda partnerships and rolling out to neighbourhoods.
• Support with mobilisation event activity during launch of new developments.
• Support delivery of brand and wellbeing events to the internal Moda team.
• Work with Marketing Manager and Design & Social Content Manager to produce supporting social media content for events.
• Custodian of the Moda brand ensuring the event plan is consistent and market leading across all developments – always looking for opportunities for growth.
• Working with internal team and agencies where necessary to raise awareness of the Moda brand across the UK.
• ESG champion – supporting to embed Moda’s ESG strategy across the business through event planning and partner selection.
• Manage the annual event budget and invoices.
• On-going detailed competitor analysis.
• Providing monthly activity report, tracking ROI and productiveness.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Minimum 2 years event management experience.
• Exceptional eye for detail with strong time and project management skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
• Ability to manage own deadlines and take ownership of projects.
• Creativity and an ability to produce and present innovative and original ideas.
• Experience managing partnership relations and building networks.
• Experience of budget management.
• Experience of gathering and coordinating data sets.
• Experience creating risk assessments and H&S documents.
• Experience building presentations and presenting confidently.
• Knowledge of H&S credentials required for events.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with inhouse teams and external agencies.
• A great communicator and team player.
• An autonomous self-starter that uses initiative and is proactive.
• A good professional network.
• Maintain and embody the Moda brand standards and lifestyle.
• Happy to travel across the UK from time to time to different Moda neighbourhoods.
• Ability to work/engage with different areas of the company; marketing, on site teams, finance, development, construction, operations and external agencies.

MUST HAVES 

• Minimum 2 years event management experience.
• Exceptional organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects across multiple channels at any one time.
• This role will suit a candidate that is exceptionally organised.
• An ability to think strategically and come up with event ideas, ability to understand market trends and respond to customers’ wants and needs.
• Good understanding of attractive brands and vendors to partner with.
• Experience in marketing and social media management desired.
