MAINTENANCE MANAGER

We're on the hunt for an exceptional Maintenance Manager who wants to become part of a leading lifestyle experience brand, delivering and operating next generation neighbourhoods to live, work and play.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To co-ordinate and close all resident’s reactive maintenance in a timely manner, identify trends and solutions to avoid reoccurrence where possible
  • Manage working relationships with suppliers and contractors
  • Allocation of job sheets for maintenance technicians and prioritising communication to residents accordingly
  • Support the Resident Engagement Manager with the preparation of amenities for resident events
  • Support the Leasing Manager with resident requests pre-let to secure tenancy through to end of tenancy checks and apartment rectification in a timely manner to aid apartment turn arounds
  • Work closely with the Quality Manager to maintain overall building quality and standards
  • Manage a team and be responsible for department recruitment and retention
  • Furniture rotation, assembly and tracking
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise
  • Report escalation of planned maintenance to GM and head office
  • Update systems to track works effectively and produce and share reports where required
  • Daily lift alarm tests
  • Weekly/monthly/quarterly PPM testing
  • Maintain accurate PPM records for inspection
  • Support apartment maintenance inspections
  • Consistently deliver the Moda service standards to all residents and visitors to the building

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Previous experience in residential property (hospitality or private rental sector preferred)
  • Pro-active and able to use initiative to enhance the reputation of the building
  • Professional presentation, confident and outgoing in nature
  • Well organised, ability to problem solve with great decision-making skills
  • Excellent customer relations skills, a sense of humour and plenty of energy and enthusiasm
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Conscientious, taking pride with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience of working to targets and achieving deadlines
  • Display sensitivities to and understanding of residents’ needs
  • Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and cooperation with residents and colleagues alike
  • Good level of computer literacy using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Multitasker who works well under pressure
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of all business, client and customer documentation/information
