MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN 

Salary: £26,000

You will oversee the onsite management of services, suppliers, contractors, and processes that support the core running of our neighbourhood. You will be involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to buildings and premises.

AKA 'superhero of the neighbourhood.'

THE ROLE

  • Consistently deliver first class customer service to residents and visitors 
  • Provide onsite maintenance, communal parts including amenities and external areas
  • Reactive and proactive maintenance tasks as directed by Quality Manager 
  • Minor joinery, plumbing and maintenance works, painting and touch ups 
  • Planned maintenance tasks including testing of systems and recording all tests 
  • Reporting and recording all maintenance tasks using systems provided
  • Waste management services including bin rotation, pull outs for collections and return 
  • Grounds maintenance including taking care of planters and hard and soft landscaping
  • Maintain cleaning standards on site-jet washing, cleaning and litter picking 
  • Ensure health and safety on site including removing trip hazards and reporting all faults 
  • Preparing apartments during the resident move in/out process 
  • Preparation and clean-up of amenities for resident events 
  • Supporting parcel delivery and management of deliveries to site 
  • Replenishing supplies and maintaining accurate records of equipment on site  

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • A multi skilled tradesperson with experience in paining & decorating, minor joinery, plumbing and general maintenance 
  • Well organised, ability to problem solve and works under pressure with great decision-making skills
  • Proactive and able to use initiative to enhance the reputation of the building
  • Able to demonstrate an organised and professional approach and ability to priorities 
  • Manchester lover
