The new chicks on the block

girl boss definition

We celebrate women 365 days a year, but the 8th March and the month in general it's emphasised.

March, aka 'Women's History Month.'

A reminder to celebrate the women you know and admire. An important call to champion female talent on a wider scale and throughout the year.

The past year has highlighted women continue to thrive, no matter what.

To any women thinking of entering into a male-dominated field. Just do it and know that you deserve to be there just as much as anyone else.

Your voice, our voice, ideas and presence matter!

The Moda girls

The ladies of Moda make up 40% of the team. A number we intend to keep growing! We're on a mission...

You've already caught up with Alice, Lydia and Sarah from the Moda girl gang.

Next up are the newbies... welcome aboard and enjoy the journey!

Q: How did you get into the property industry?

Having spent most of my working life in the hustle and bustle of the hospitality industry, I joined Moda just 4-weeks ago. Property has always been of real interest to me, whether it’s endless scrolling through the Rightmove app, looking at houses I can only dream of living in *adds million pound mansions to vision board*, to nosey-ing on site within the family construction business.

Q: Why is property for you?

Call me a geek but I love to learn new things and there’s definitely always something new to learn. The brand is a hybrid of construction and hospitality and I’m so excited to be a part of it.

Q: How did you get into the property industry?

I have spent the last 15 years in the hotel industry where my entire purpose was to create an environment where guest feel like they are home. I thought it was about time i turned that on its head and focussed on creating a unique 'hotel' experience for people who are truly are home. This is the future experience service.

Q: Why is property for you?

Building strong connections with residents and helping curate their individual experience with Moda makes it all worthwhile.

Q: How did you get into the property industry?

I will be joining Moda towards the end of March, a big change for me following a career in sales! This will be my first role in the property industry - I’m very excited to start and to get to know the Moda family.

Q: Why is property for you?

The idea of being involved in projects that will directly and positively impact peoples’ lives and lifestyles is so exciting and I will find this aspect extremely rewarding. I feel really lucky to be joining an experienced, knowledgeable and friendly team who I’m sure I will enjoy working with very much!

There's still members of the girl gang to meet. Stay tuned...

Here’s to the ladies today, tomorrow and always.
