Light Night in Leeds is one of the UK’s largest annual arts and light festivals. Taking place over two nights, the city centre will be transformed by mesmerising light projections, interactive artworks and captivating performances by local, national and international artists.
The free event will take place on Thursday 4thand Friday 5thOctober, from 6pm to 11pm. There will be over 60 art events across ten zones in the city, from huge light projections and interactive artworks to music dance and street acts.
This year, Light Night will celebrate the theme of progress and innovation, kicking off with a vibrant illuminated parade to celebrate 100 years of social change since women got the vote. it will feature a full programme of pieces by international artists celebrating history, technology and social change.
