Local spots we’re enjoying this month…

Edinburgh.jpg

Bon Vivant
French bistro-style bar and restaurant on Thistle Street. Not a new kid on the block but still one of our faves. The perfect candlelit vibe for a mate or date night.

Hone Pilates
Based on Howe St in the centre, Hone’s studio is a perfectly aesthetic sanctuary. Believe the reformer hype and don’t underestimate the burn!

Fava
Delicious Greek kitchen with a decent wine selection and a 10/10 Greek salad. Minutes away from The McEwan in Haymarket, the perfect excuse for a local stroll.

Glasgow.jpg

Felicitie
Glasgow-based Coffee Van, based out of a repurposed WW2 refugee transport vehicle. Offering a metropolitan blend of specialty coffees, baked goods, and fresh flowers, they can often be seen in the fab and groovy marketplaces of Glasgow and are currently in talks with Moda, Holland Park to host a regular weekend pitstop for our new residents (with puppuccinos for our canine companions!)

Shilling Brewing Company
A cracking offering of food and drink in a beautiful example of classic Glasgow architecture, with an impressive selection of non-alcoholic drinks for those looking to mix it up!

Tabac
Our first recommendation for anyone looking to experience the Glasgow nightlife. They consistently host the slickest DJ’s under cool ambient lighting and offer the best Negroni in Glasgow to boot!

The Scotia Bar
Glasgow’s oldest pub, opened in 1792 and still going strong! All of Glasgow’s greatest characters are to be found here, both in front and behind of the bar!

Honey
Vintage Clothing Store - located on the balcony of the Corn Exchange, Honey is the new store from Amy Garth who studied fashion design at Leeds Arts University!

Maki & Ramen
An exciting new opening for Leeds with 8hr broths, sushi, soft shell crab and Mochi for dessert. The bang of the gong upon entering is a cute touch. (side note, resident discount hopefully pending!)

WellNest
A supportive community and studio in Kirkstall offering regular events and workshops such as yoga, massage and soundbaths.

BOXPARK
Liverpool recently welcomed the first BOXPARK located outside of London. Located in the Baltic Triangle, we’ve been loving our new neighbour and can’t wait to watch the Euros here all summer long.

Shakespeare North Playhouse
Voted Theatre Building of the Year 2023 for very good reason. You can watch all the best Shakespeare plays here - with a modern twist - such as The Tempest, Twelfth Night and Midsummer Night’s Dream. But not like you know them. A great day out when you fancy a bit of culture and a proper laugh!

Pastille Bakery
Our new neighbours based on 9 Gibraltar Row. An independent bakery specialising in modern patisserie. Visit pastillebakery.com

Van Gogh Yoga
Liverpool yoga lovers can now immerse themselves in classes at the stunning Van Gogh exhibition.
